Oh Lordy, Thank you, God, it's Monday!!!!  My weekend is over and I survived.  Plus I even watched a Super Bowl where my team wasn't playing.  I missed most of the commercials because I of course switched over to Downton Abbey....no football game competes with my D.A.  Did you see this photo posted on Facebook?

Yes, it is sad for us Dallas Cowboy fans, but it is kind of funny!

Hubby and Boy had a fun trip to the hill country for a youth retreat and Boy even got out on the dance floor (something he said he would not do!).  He's a funny one, too.

So it's Monday and life is back to normal...for a day.  Then it's time to wash and clean and get ready for our Staff Appreciation party here at the manse (meaning Church-owned house).  College girl has the party bug too.  She threw a Super Bowl party last night.  She made one cardinal mistake.  She didn't take pictures.  I know "50 lashes with a wet noodle" for her!!!! 

Years ago, Hubby and I threw parties all the time.  I remember a certain end of the "Dallas" era and we threw a party or the Crocodile Dundee party.  We had attended a zoo function and the box lunch came in crocodile shaped paper mache lunch boxes.  Well of course I had to showcase my crocodile in some way....why not throw a party!!!  Do you like parties?  Have you thrown a great one?  I'd love to hear about it.
