Late, but here!

It's almost midnight on Friday night.  We hosted the church staff tonight and guess what?  I'm not ready to crater AND I'm able to walk upright and not feel every muscle in my body twinge.  our last party nearly killed me.  I was ready this time.  The house was fairly organized and didn't need much scrubbing and chiseling.  The lasagna was assembled in a timely manner.  I even got to watch a few reruns of "Sex And the City."  Hey, don't judge me!!!  I am feeling really good right now.  

You'll remember I preached for Hubby last Sunday.  Tonight one of the staff told him that I did a good job last Sunday and he could take some time off and put up his feet and I could take over.  We both knew she was trying to give me a compliment but Ouch! that just hurt him.  I laughed it off and told her "No way; I'm the one who loves to sit back and kick up MY feet!"  Maybe there was a better come-back, but that's all I could think of at the moment!
