I am finally home long enough to get out the broom and mop. I never thought I would WANT to house clean but I'm there and so I'm capitalizing on it.

Our youth had their youth service yesterday and can I just say: I am so proud of them? Our little group is getting smaller due to moves and busy-ness but there is a core group and they are amazing. Our church has two services. We laugh that the first service is dress rehearsal (let's face it; most of the people are still asleep for that early service! just kidding). True to form, we worked out the kinks after first service and Strawberry screwed up the second service. You know the benediction Paul gives in Corinthians or one of the Pauline books: And now may the grace of God, the love of Jesus, and the fellowship of the Spirit be with you now and forevermore? or something like that. Well, I took an Old Testament benediction: May the Lord bless you and keep you....and ....and...the fellowship of ..... of....everyone....Hahahahahaha....the fellowship of everyone be with you now and forevermore. Amen. Oh yes, I did. I laughed at my blunder but I couldn't correct myself so I just went with it. The congregation laughed with me and all is good.
Talk about screwing up a benediction! bahahahahahahahahaha.....At least I made my youth feel good about their screw ups.
So today, I am letting the Lord bless me by blessing my house with no more furballs and sticky things on the floor.
