I know I have mentioned my de-cluttering phase to you....as a matter of fact, that's probably ALL I've been blogging about. hOw CaN iT bE i stiLL hAve sO muCH cLuTTeR??? I just don't get it. Is clutter like dust bunnies? Or like Chinese food? It keeps growing and expanding? Maybe it's a Murphy's Law. The more you give away the more you hoard. I don't know. I'm feeling helpless here in Rural, USA. I can see how those traveling out west packed themselves up in a covered wagon and took the essentials.
I might have also mentioned I have a deep affection (okay, call it obsession) with office supplies. WHY? I don't know. I love notebooks and colored pencils and crayons--remember my coloring phase? Oh my gosh, don't get me started on colored paperclips or beautifully decorated file folders or fabulous designed specialty paper. I love it all!!!!
Years and years ago our church women sold decorative rice paper napkins. Yep, I bought a boatload of them and guess what? The boatload is still stored in my closet. I've been saving them "for nice." Well, nice has arrived and I'm planning to use them up. No more waiting for the special moment. My kids are grown and 3/4 of them are out of the house. Next time I see them, they get a TV dinner with a beautiful rice paper napkin.
How about you, Grainiacs? Holding on to something for nice? Let nice arrive and enjoy!
